PACKAGING

Dr Sheth’s launched it with the new packaging of the brand. New packaging (outer box + bottle) is really impressive and convenient for the user, as it provided every necessary information on it. Maximum use of the outer box is commendable, you can open the box to know everything about the product. We need to put the dropper (provided separately in the box itself) after unlocking it into the bottle. This ensures product does not leak during the transit. Bottle is tinted to avoid the oxidation of the serum.

NOTE – You have to unlock the dropper before using it, by slightly pushing it or rotating it.

MY EXPERIENCE

I am a big fan of Dr Sheth’s formulations, really loved – Gulab & Glycolic toner, Cica & Ceramide serum, Haldi and Hyaluronic sleeping mask, ABC Cleanser and Neem & BHA serum. When they sent me thier newly launched Vitamin C serum and Niacinamide Serum, I was really excited as my skin loves Vitamin C and I was looking for a good serum which is easily available in India.

Now coming to the Dr. Sheth’s Amla VC20 Vitamin C Serum, it has runny consistency and looks like water. It is very lightweight and sinks in quickly into the skin. Skin feels hydrated after use and despite being 20% vitamin C serum, it does not sensitize the skin. It does not feel tacky or oily; I layer it with a good moisturizer. I prefer to 6-7 drops of the serum for my face and neck, we can use it both day or night time routine. This serum is definitely helping in giving me even skin tone, lightening the marks and a slight brightening effect. I need to use 2 more bottles (quantity is only 20 ml of a bottle) of the serum to see a major change, but I can see that this serum is showing results slowly.

The new Alpha Arbutin serum by Dr Sheths’s can be used in combination with vitamin C serum (recommended by them), I am really looking forward to use them together. I will definitely update you guys on how well the combination works for my hyperpigmentation.

NOTE – MANDATORY TO USE SUNSCREEN.
