I have used a cleanser with AHA & BHA earlier but I was very excited when Dr Sheth’s launched this cleanser and sent me to try. Today I will review Dr Sheth’s AHA BHA & Cica Cleanser.

It smells like vinegar to me. I don’t mind it as it is a wash off product.
TEXTURE AND COLOUR
It is a runny transparent gel with small red beads (packed with almond oil and vitamin E) in it. These burst as soon as we rub it on the face.

FINAL THOUGHTS
This cleanser comes with 2.5% glycolic acid (AHA) and 2.5% lactic acid (AHA) which exfoliate the skin gently while 0.5% salicylic acid (BHA) can penetrate skin to clear away debris trapped inside. ABC cleanser exfoliates and brightens the skin while remaining calming to the skin because of presence of Cica in it. It exfoliates the top layer of the skin and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. This cleanser is perfect for reducing blackheads and whiteheads.
I use this cleanser thrice a week in my nighttime skincare routine. It is a exfoliating cleanser, but it does not feel harsh on the skin and it does not make my skin dry or streachy. I follow up with a hydrating and soothing products. Don’t use any other active in the same routine. It smells like vinegar because there is no added fragrance in the formulation. This cleanser gave me a brighter looking smooth skin, and it reduced white heads from my face to a great extent. It helps in unclogging the pores.
Don’t forget to use sunscreen, actives make our skin sensitive towards sun, so we must apply SPF to keep our skin protected.
