THE FACE SHOP CHIA SEED NO SHINE CREAM GEL

Hello, beauties! Today’s blog post is about The Face Shop Chia Seed No Shine Hydrating Cream Gel from the Korean skincare brand THE FACE SHOP. Apart from the sheet marks from THE FACE SHOP, this cream is my first skin care product from them. I was looking for a lightweight day cream and I came across this cream. Many people thinks it is a dupe of the Clinique’s cult favourite (Clinique moisture surge) let’s find out whether it is a dupe and how well it performs for my skin. So here is my full review of this.

MY TAKE ON THIS/FINAL VERDICT

My skin is a combination type, and it becomes dry in winters. I like to apply a good moisturizer but I hate greasy creams as well so I am always in a search of a cream which will give me intense hydration but will not make my skin oily or greasy. I use this cream as a daily cream (day) and also underneath my makeup. Makeup does not look cakey or flaky. It sits beautifully underneath makeup. I am quite impressed with the cream. Oily skin/combination skin type people should definitely try this cream. Overall, it is a good cream.

IS IT A DUPE FOR CLINIQUES MOISTURE SURGE CREAM?

Cliniques moisture surge is a cult favourite of all and it’s loved by people all over the world. It’s very hard to find the exact dupe of that cream (You will come to know once you try it). But if you don’t want to invest in Clinique so you can try this one, it will give you quite similar results. Ingredients in both the creams are different, and both the creams have their own speciality. One is enriched with the goodness of chia seeds and another one is filled with properties of hyaluronic acid and caffeine. Please read more about the Clinique moisture surge.
