Is Pantene pro-v oil replacement cream worth the hype?

Before we jump to conclusions let’s know what is this Pantene cream all about. Using this cream over a period of 6 months now its finally time to post a Review on Pantene Oil Replacement cream

I was quite sceptical about this product as never user a hair cream my entire life. So though it needs a try.

What is Pantene Pro-V oil Replacement cream

It is a non- sticky cream that you can use instead of your regular hair oil to get soft and manageable hair. The main difference is the texture as it is cream and is thick and will not make the hair greasy. Also, it is combined with some vitamins and nourishing oils in a creamy formula which can make your hair stronger after continuous usage.

How to use this product

Well, the application is quite easy and hassle-free. Just squeeze a fair amount of product on your hand and work through the hair. You can either apply it on damp or dried hair. There is no information about the application on the scalp but personally, I would just stick to my length and not apply it on the scalp directly.

Is it better than the oils?

Honestly, it’s a great product but oils are life. A hot oil treatment for your hair every now and then cannot be replaced by a cream.

Which in no way means this product does not work, it does! But at times your hair needs something more intense than a mere hair cream when oils come handy.

After effects

After the application, your hair will be more manageable and soft. It works similar to a leave-in conditioner. You can also use this instead of a hair gel to style the baby hairs.

Long-term effects

Did notice less hair breakage but not a major difference in the hair texture.

Overall, will give this is 4 star. Must buy to use it as a leave-in conditioner. Great for the Indian market where there are not many hair creams available.
