PACKAGING
It comes in a colour-coded tube Which represent the shade of lipstick with the velvet Matt black cap. The doe foot applicator is quite convenient and give a precise application. Name of the shade is written on the bottom of the tube.
TEXTURE
As the name suggests it has soft Moussey texture comfortable on lips. It gives opaque colour in one swipe without tugging or pulling your lips.
FRAGRANCE
It has a vanilla fragrance which fades away when you apply it on the lips.
COLOUR
The shade ‘Rome’ is a nude shade with red undertones. It also has a subtle pink tinge to it and is the perfect neutral shade for daily wear. It looks deep pinkish brown on lips. These soft matte lip creams come in 36 shades. Each one named after a famous city around the globe.
USAGE
Apply NYX Professional Makeup Soft Matte Lip Cream with the soft wand applicator included in the tube. For a more precise application, line the outside of your lips first, then fill them in. The high-pigmented formula will glide on creamy and set to a smooth matte finish.
FINAL THOUGHTS
Nyx Soft Matte Lip Cream does not feel dry on the lips like other liquid lipsticks. It easily lasts for a good 3-5 hours without eating. However, since it’s so easy to re-apply the short wear time is not a matter for me. It does not set immediately, so it’s easy to layer on. Texture is the unique about these lipsticks true to its name it is a soft cream and its comfortable on lips. And finish looks stunning on lips. This lip shade complements my skin tone well for reference I am NC 40 in MAC. I like this lipstick enough that I want to try more shades from the range. The vanilla scent is not overpowering and does not bother my nose.
