MY TAKE ON THIS/FINAL VERDICT

Overall, it’s a good cleanser. Thoroughly cleanses the hair and scalp. It is mild enough, so it does not make your hair dry. I mainly purchased it so it can help me with my dandruff (severe) issue but unfortunately it didn’t do much for me. Anybody having normal hair with no scalp issues will enjoy it thoroughly. Although it doesn’t contain sulphates, still it lathers well enough to thoroughly clean your hair and scalp.

Talking about the conditioner is of thin consistency, unlike traditional conditioners. It will not make your hair smooth immediately after applying as all the other conditioners do. As it doesn’t have silicones in it. But still it does its job well. All in all, it is a good combo. As Forest Essentials is all organic and cruelty-free Indian brand, try it.

  1. Hi, I have tried all of their shampoo ranges from BHRINGRAJ & SHIKAKAI, JAPAPATTI & BRAHMI and AMLA, HONEY & MULETHI but have noticed one thing.
Whenever I oil my hair and wash using the above shampoos, the oil remains in the hair even after using the shampoo twice. In this bargain I landed up using more shampoo and in turn my hair became rough and unmanageable.
Has anyone faced this issue because I am not finding any similar comments related to this issue of oil not coming out from the hair?

    1. Yes! You need more shampoo to get rid of oil since shampoo is sulphate free and very mild. But it never gives roughness. Are you using conditioner from same range?
