VILVAH Herbal Honey Fix Facewash

Hello everyone! How are you all? As we know in the skin care regime, the most important step is cleansing. And for that we need a good face wash. Personally, I love foaming face washes and I keep on trying new ones. Recently, I came across the VILVAH brand and I bought an herbal honey fix face wash from it. So, today I will review the same.

BRAND CLAIMS

Cleanse your face with this oil-free formulation made with a whopping 8% of honey, a natural source of glycolic acid. Enriched with power-packed extracts from blackberry, papaya, gotukola and orange peel, this cleanser has gentle exfoliating, pore-shrinking, and complexion brightening properties. Works on acne like magic. 100% Natural Scent. Refreshing Citrus aroma with the tinge of vanilla.

PACKAGING

It comes in an eco–friendly aluminium bottle with a pump dispenser. I have seen a face wash in such packaging for the first time. Since it is an aluminium bottle, it is travel friendly.

FRAGRANCE

It has a very refreshing and citrus fragrance.

TEXTURE AND COLOUR

It has a runny consistency and smooth gel like texture. It looks (yellow + orange) in colour.

INGREDIENTS

1. Raw forest honey being the star ingredient is rich in anti-oxidants and possesses anti-bacterial properties. So, it is great for anti acne treatments and prevention. This acts as a natural humectant and keeps the skin well moisturised and promotes a natural glow by reducing wrinkles and cleansing the pores.
2. Our Organic Witch hazel and Aloe vera water works on acne-prone skin and reduces inflammation and skin irritation.
3. Vitamin C, present in blackberry and orange peel extract, keeps the skin toned and tightened and also it has natural glycolic acid which exfoliates the skin gently giving a naturally brighter look.
4. Papaya extract is another star ingredient rich in Vitamin A and carotenoids is considered being an amazing skin food and the studies show that it has skin lightening properties.

MY TAKE ON THIS

I have combination/oily skin and it works well for my skin type. Cleaning face is an essential part of my daily routine. I like my face wash to give a squeaky clean feeling. It should not dry out the moisture of the skin. However, it should strip off all the dirt and excess oil from the face. This face wash will be good for normal skin type also as it is non drying and hydrates. It produces moderate lather. I like this face wash as it does the job very well. And I love to use this face wash in my morning skin care routine as it has a very refreshing fragrance.
