PACKAGING
Recently The Body Shop has changed its packaging to 100% recycled plastic. These body butters came in a recycled plastic tub with a tin-lead. Packaging is sturdy and travel-friendly.
FRAGRANCE
Both of the body butter has a subtle fragrance to it which does not bother my nose and I really love it. Olive body butter has a beautiful fresh scent to it and Shea body has a warm nutty scent. I love the fragrance of shea butter more if I compare these two. Overall, both of them smell really nice.
TEXTURE AND COLOUR
Shea Butter Body Butter Olive Body Butter
These butters have a very thick texture, and they soften when we rub them onto our skin. They stay intact in the tub and does not move at all. Shea body butter is a little creamier than the Olive one. Olive body butter has a very very light greenish hue to it and Shea body butter is off white.
SUITABLE FOR
Dry to very dry skin.
HOW TO USE
Towel dry after cleansing. Scoop out a dollop of Body Butter. Slather over dry skin sparingly or generously.
MY EXPERIENCE
I am a big fan of The Body Shop body care range. When it comes to body butters, they have a wide and amazing range. These body butters come in a classic TBS packaging in a huge round tub. Both body butters are for dry to very dry skin, and they performed as per the claims. I apply them right after my shower and they give me really soft, well-moisturised skin. They do not feel sticky or greasy on the skin, and I don’t feel the need to reapply moisturiser the whole day long. If you suffer from dry patches on your body in winters, these body butters will be your saviours.
PROS
- Vegan.
- Dermatologically tested.
- Recyclable packaging.
- Buttery soft texture.
- Moisturising enough that reapplication is not required.
- No greasy feel.
CONS
None for me.
WILL I RECOMMEND
I will recommend everyone to try the butters by them once, you will fall in love.
WILL I REPURCHASE
