Hello beauties! How are you all? Today I will review Soothe Bamboo Sun Essence by KEEP COOL. Keep Cool is a Korean brand that has some amazing skincare products. So in June 2020 they launched a sunscreen, and I was fortunate that they choose me to try out the sunscreen and review for you guys. I was very excited to try this unique formula as I knew Koreans make amazing sunscreens. So keep cool sent me this sunscreen in June itself, but I received it towards the end of July (Customs you know 🤨🥺). Keep on reading what I feel about this sunscreen.
BRAND CLAIMS
A non-sticky, moisture essence type of sunscreen that protects against both UVA and UVB and leaves the skin feeling fresh. This mild and safe sunscreen essence contains 40% bamboo water, centella asiatica extract and seven layers of hyaluronic acid which comes and moisturises sensitive skin. The patented B Circadin in the essence protects and relieve skin from the effects of daily stress.

This sunscreen comes in a sleek white plastic squeeze tube with a slim nozzle. With the nozzle, it is very easy to control the amount of product.

At the last step of your morning skincare routine, take an appropriate amount and frequently apply on to the areas of the face and body which are exposed to sunlight.

MY EXPERIENCE
This sunscreen is the very first product I have tried from the brand Keep Cool.  I am very picky when it comes to sunscreens as my combination skin does not like every other sunscreen. I hate sunscreens which make me sweat and feel tacky/sticky on the face and of course white cast is a big no. This one is very lightweight and absorbs quickly into the skin, leaving no white cast. Although the finish it gives is semi matte. It is hydrating on the skin I sometimes skip moisturiser and directly apply this. I use it as a last step of my morning skincare routine. This sunscreen does not make my skin oily or greasy.
It is enriched with 40% bamboo water which helps in soothing overheated skin and because of the presence of calming and soothing ingredients, this sunscreen is suitable for sensitive skin as well. It has 7 layers of hyaluronic acid, which makes this sunscreen moisturising. This sunscreen has SPF 50 and PA++++. SPF stands for sun protection factor and refers to the UVB protection while PA followed by the plus signs shows you how well it protects your skin against UVA rays.
Bonus is makeup sits beautifully on this sunscreen. Wait for a few minutes and then start applying makeup. It does not move my foundation. Soothe bamboo sun essence is my new favourite sunscreen.
