Hello beauties!! how are you all? Clay masks are great for oily and acne prone skin. Healing clay blends is a brand by a fellow blogger Ayesha. She was kind enough to send me her red clay mask and red clay lip tint to try. Today, I will review red clay face mask by healing clay blends.

BRAND CLAIMS

Red clay gets its brilliant red color from iron oxides, and most of the red clays available today are extremely staining. So, it makes it very difficult to use it for its amazing skin healing properties. However, the clay we have does not stain your skin one bit, and the addition of bentonite and kaolin clay makes it ultimate pore cleansing, acne clearing face mask. On severely acne prone skin, you can see a noticeable difference in as less as 4 to 5 uses.

TEXTURE AND COLOUR

It is a very fine milled clay that is soft and smooth to touch. It turns into a soft paste when we add water/ rose water to it.

Red clay (60%), Bentonite clay, Kaolin clay, Tea tree, and Lavander essential oils.

Acne, combination/oily skin types.

USAGE

1. Mix it with water/ rose water to use it face pack.
2. Use it as spot corrector.

FINAL THOUGHTS

This fine red clay mask is very smooth. It is easy to apply and is equally easy to wash off. Always wash off clay masks when they are semi dry. I keep it on for exactly 10 minutes. We can use it on acne or as a spot treatment. It helps to dry down the zit faster. Clay masks are great for oily skin, as they clean pores thoroughly and control oil. The best part of this clay mask is that my skin does not feel dry or stretchy after use. I will recommend that combination skin types should use it once a week. Oily skin types should use it twice a week, and dry skin beauties should stay away from this mask.  If you have acne prone and oily/combination skin, try it.
