Hello, beauties! I love adding cleansing balms to my collection. This one is great because it fully removes makeup, even waterproof eye makeup (especially mascara). Today I will review neem cleansing balm by skincarevilla.shop

ABOUT

An oil cleansing balm made with jojoba oil, grapeseed oil and neem oil to melt your makeup. It removes makeup effortlessly without stinging the eye. We can also use it as a first cleanse in double cleansing. Follow up with a foaming cleanser.

PACKAGING

1. It comes in a small glass jar with an aluminium screw lid.
2. It is sustainable packaging.

FRAGRANCE

It has an herbal fragrance. Prominently smells like neem.

TEXTURE

This butter has a thick balm like texture. Melts easily on rubbing on to your face. It doesn’t emulsify but becomes soft.

PROS

1. It removes waterproof makeup effortlessly.
2. Doesn’t sting eyes.
3. Gentle on skin.

5. Doesn’t sting the eye while removing eye makeup .

CONS

1. Some may not like this herbal fragrance.
2. Taste bitter while removing Lipstick (Therefore gives me a reason to have sweet 🤣).

USAGE/APPLICATION

1. Take some balm with a wooden spoon.
2. Massage the balm on your skin using small circular motions.
3. Wet cotton pad with warm water. Use cotton pads and gently wipe away oil from face.
4. Wash your face with foaming face wash.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS

1. Store in a cool and dark place.
2. Do not let water enter the tub.

MY TAKE ON THIS/FINAL VERDICT

This cleansing balm is one of the best cleansing balms that I have tried. Cleansing your skin after a full day of makeup is a very important part of your skincare routine. You should always remove your makeup before going to bed. Firstly, I use this balm to remove makeup and secondly, I use a forming face wash for thoroughly cleaning my face. It’s safe to remove eye makeup, including eyeliner and mascara. It dissolves and removes waterproof makeup effortlessly. As I have a combination/oily skin, I do not use this for double cleansing.
