Hello beauties! How are you all? I hope you all are doing great. You all must have seen or heard most of the skincare enthusiast and dermatologist talk about the importance of sunscreen. It is the best investment you can do for your skin. If I think about skincare or anti ageing “SUNSCREEN” is the first thing which comes into my mind. One should always buy a sunscreen according to their skin type a and skin concerns or you can also ask your dermatologist to recommend one for you. Today I will review my current favourite: Missha All Around Safe Block Aqua Sun Gel SPF50+ /PA++++

PACKAGING

It is a squeezable plastic tube with a nozzle. If you see the tube through light, you can clearly see the amount left in the tube (I really like this). This tube is travel friendly.

It is a milky creamy liquid which is very easy to spread. This sunscreen blends like a dream.

HOW TO USE

Use it as a last step in your AM skincare routine, apply to your face and body as needed. Pat in to absorb. Reapply every two hours or after swimming or sweating.

MY EXPERIENCE

Finding a right sunscreen is a struggle. I have oily skin and I don’t like sunscreens which gives a sheen or makes my face oily and sweaty. This one is my third sunscreen which I have tried from a Korean brand, and I am not disappointed.

This Aqua sun gel by Missha is a very lightweight sunscreen suitable for people with combination to oily skin type. Creamy texture of the sunscreen is very easy to blend, it gets absorbed quickly. Leaves a matte finish but not super matte. I love the velvet smooth finish of the sunscreen. It doesn’t leave any white cast.

It doesn’t pill if layered and sits beautifully under makeup. I sometimes apply it without using a moisturiser before and it does not make my skin dry or stretchy. However, if you have normal to combination skin use a nice moisturiser before it. If you don’t like alcohol in your sunscreen, then you can skip it. Availability in India is a problem, it is not readily available, either you have to preorder or wait for it to come back in stock.

I will highly recommend this sunscreen to people with a combination to oily skin. If you are a fan of sunscreen with velvet matte finish, give this one a try.
