Hello, beauties! Hope you all are healthy and great. Because of all the restrictions we all are looking for “Do It Yourself” products. Today I will review a very interesting and unique product, FOOT PEELING MASK. I will compare two masks, by brands THE FACE SHOP and TONYMOLY.

HOW TO USE
- Place the plastic socks on your feet.
- Tear open a packet containing peeling liquid and pour the entire contents into one sock. Repeat for the other sock.
- Leave on for 60 to 90 minutes. Do not leave the product on for more than 90 minutes as the formula contains highly concentrated Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA).
- Remove the socks and rinse your feet thoroughly.
- Dead skin cells will fall off after 4 to 6 days. Do not use force when peeling begins; wait until dead skin cells fall off naturally. The calluses on your feet will start to peel off 4 to 6 days after use. Do not pick your calluses; allow them to come off naturally.
- Two weeks after use, nearly all your calluses will come off and your feet will feel baby-soft.
MY EXPERIENCE
When I got to know about foot peeling masks, I got really excited and tried that. The first peeling mask I tried was from THE FACE SHOP. One set of peeling masks comes in a sturdy cardboard box with two foot-shaped pouches (serum) inside it and two socks, one for each foot. They mentioned every instruction on the pack itself. As instructed on the pack, I put on both the socks and poured the liquid inside them. I sat with the socks on for 60 to 90 minutes as directed. After that, I washed my feet thoroughly. Now I waited for 4-5 days patiently and VOILA!! My skin on the feet started peeling. And no, it didn’t work like a peel-off mask, that skin will come off in one go. It took 4-5 days to completely get rid of the dead skin. It is oddly satisfying to see your dead skin come off, but it is also gross in a way. Finally, you will get smooth feet, which look like you had a great pedicure.
TONYMOLY Shiny Foot Super Peeling Liquid

HOW TO USE
- Place the plastic booties around each foot. Pour and distribute the peeling liquid in each booty equally.
- Tie the plastic booties with ties located at top of boot so there are no gaps.
- Wait approximately 1-1.5 hours. Try to avoid walking while waiting.
- Remove plastic booties (preferably inside the shower or tub to avoid any potential spillage) and discard.
- Thoroughly rinse off with cool water.
- In about 4-6 days, the sole of your feet (calluses) will begin to peel away.
- You will have feet as soft as a baby in just 2 weeks!
- Note: You do not have to forcefully peel the skin, just let it roll off naturally.
MY EXPERIENCE
After my wonderful experience with the foot peeling mask by THE FACE SHOP, I tried the peeling mask by TonyMoly. this one also comes in a sturdy cardboard box with two foot-shaped pouches filled with serum/liquid and two socks. Now two things which I noticed differed from the previous ones were: the socks had an inner cotton lining, or you can say inner cotton sock. And they provided two small pouches of foot cream. Directions to use were almost the same. I kept this mask on for almost 60 minutes and after that washed my feet thoroughly with water. This mask also worked in the same way as the previous one.
Conclusion
In my opinion, both the peeling masks performed well. The only thing that the TonyMoly one provided extra foot cream to apply later on. And the inner cotton sock didn’t make a difference in my opinion. A few things which I learned from my experience are that you should only use these masks if you have at least 10 to 12 days for the whole procedure to finish completely. For example, if you have an occasion to attend and you want to do this pedicure at home then don’t do it five days before the function because by the time your function will start your dead skin from the foot will start peeling off and that is not the good sight to look at. Also, apply a good foot cream afterwards because your feet can look dry otherwise. Overall, if you are ok with the “peeling skin”, you can give these masks a try.
